DPCCT Receives State Gold Medal for Preserving Indigenous Culture
We are proud to share that DPCCT received the State Gold Medal from the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, honouring our efforts to preserve indigenous culture. This achievement celebrates our Gurukuls, team, partners, and well-wishers, whose support helps keep traditions alive while shaping the next generation of learners and community leaders.
We are thrilled to share that the Donyi-Polo Cultural & Charitable Trust (DPCCT) was awarded the State Gold Medal by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh at the Investiture Ceremony on 21st February 2025, held at General Bipin Rawat Hall, Raj Bhawan, Itanagar. This honour, announced on Independence Day 2024, recognises our efforts to preserve and celebrate the rich indigenous culture of Arunachal Pradesh.
This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our Gurukuls, team members, and all our well-wishers. We are also deeply grateful to our partners and collaborators, including CMO Arunachal, MyGov Arunachal Pradesh, Vivekananda Kendra, RITES Ltd., Punjab National Bank, The Global University, Oil India Limited, Sewa International Bharat, and many others, whose contributions have been vital to our journey.
Receiving this medal inspires us to continue our mission with renewed energy — nurturing our Gurukuls, advancing education, and keeping the traditions of Arunachal Pradesh alive for future generations. It is a moment of pride not just for DPCCT, but for all who cherish and support the heritage of our indigenous communities.
