Sant Eshwer Samman Award 2025
Shri Er. Katung Wahge, Founder of DPCCT and a respected education pioneer of the Nyishi community, received the Sant Eshwer Samman 2025 in New Delhi for his efforts in preserving indigenous values through education. This prestigious award honours individuals who have made outstanding contributions to society and culture.
He was recognised for introducing the DPCCT Gurukul initiative in Arunachal Pradesh, blending modern education with traditional wisdom. This recognition is a proud moment for the state and a celebration of the rich heritage of its indigenous communities.

On the auspicious occasion of India’s 77th Independence Day on August 15th, 2023, the students of Nilung Tungko Pabo participated in a cultural competition held at Boleng and won the 2nd prize. The esteemed award was presented by Hon'ble MLA Shri Ojing Tasing to the Principal of the school.
