Nyubu Nyvgam Yerko - Mywa

The Donyi Polo Cultural and Charitable Trust continues to propel forward with its mission of promoting and propagating indigenous cultural values in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. This year, the trust has embarked on yet another ambitious project—the establishment of the Nyubu Nyvgam Yerko school in MWYA, located in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. The school was inaugurated on the 14th of 2023 in the presence of the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, the Education Minister of Arunachal Pradesh and many other esteemed dignitaries. This gurukul styled indigenous school at MWYA is the second school of its kind in the state and follows the academic structure of Nyubu Nyvgam Yerko school at Rang.

The Nyubu Nyvgam Yerko school in MWYA, like its predecessor, follows a curriculum that integrates the CBSE-based syllabus with lessons on indigenous values, teachings, and cultural practices. By blending modern education with traditional knowledge, the school aims to equip students with a well-rounded education that appreciates and preserves their cultural heritage. The total number of students is 75 for the academic year 2024
